Service Description

IMPORTANT: Starting August 1, 2023, the government requires that each person register online to enter Tenorio National Park (Rio Celeste). You will need to provide your passport number, nationality, full name, and the ages of any children (ages 2 to 12 years old). Additionally, you must specify the date of your visit. To gain access to the park, you must bring your actual passport, a photo of it on your phone, or a printed copy. If you do not have one of these, you will not be allowed to enter the park or see the waterfall. If you are not comfortable with this government requirement, consider our "Sloths & Nature" tour (https://www.tropictransferstourscr.com/service-page/sloths-nature-full-day?referral=service_list_widget) It offers a similar experience but does not include entry into the national park, so you won’t need to share any passport information. Begin your day by swimming in the beautiful Llanos del Cortez Waterfall for 40 minutes. Please note that if it has been raining, the water may appear brown. The beauty of the waterfall and its surroundings will take your breath away. Next, we will head to Tenorio National Park, where we will hike along the park's trails. Here, you can admire the majestic blue waterfall. It’s important to be in good physical condition, as there are many stairs along the route. During the hike, you’ll have the chance to see toucans, various birds, poison dart frogs, and snakes in their natural habitat. After the hike, we will head to a delicious typical restaurant where you will enjoy a tasty "casado," a traditional dish. This lunch will provide you with an authentic taste of Costa Rican cuisine. Next, we will continue our search for sloths along easy trails. You will have the opportunity to see these adorable animals in their natural habitat, and with a bit of luck, you might also spot the famous red-eyed tree frog of Costa Rica. Finally, we will conclude the day at a private farm where you will take a coffee and chocolate tour. You’ll learn about the production process of these delicious products and enjoy some tastings. *Tours rates includes: a/c transportation, bilingual guide, typical costarican lunch, all activities described & a courtesy cooler with water, beer and juice on the bus. *What to bring: water, hiking shoes, camera, bug spray, sunscreen, sunglasses, money, and a change of clothes. *Pick up time: 7:15 am *Return time: 5 pm approx. *Diving time: 2 Hour (approx.)
